FeedParity

Privacy Notice

v1.3. Effective July 2, 2026.

How FeedParity collects, uses, and protects your personal data.

Data controller

The data controller for personal data processed through FeedParity is Egységmester Kft., 2330 Dunaharaszti, Gyóni Géza köz 8, Hungary. Contact: hello@practicalapps.studio.

What data we collect

Account and contact data: your email address when you sign up, contact us, or subscribe.

Service input data: store URLs, product feed URLs, and product page URLs you submit for scanning; the scan results and reports generated from them.

Billing data: your subscription status, plan, and payment method details — handled and stored by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).

Technical and usage data: server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) and session identifiers. If — and only if — you accept non-essential cookies in our cookie banner, we also collect aggregate interaction statistics (such as clicks and scroll depth) via our self-hosted analytics/heatmap tool (PracticalApps Studio infrastructure). If you decline, this tool is not loaded and no such data is collected.

Please do not submit customer personal data, payment card details, passwords, or special-category personal data (health, biometric, etc.) through the service.

Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

To provide the service and your reports — legal basis: performance of contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To process payment and manage your subscription — legal basis: performance of contract and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

To secure, maintain, and improve the service — legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); our interest is operating a reliable, secure service.

For optional marketing communications — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Data processors and sub-processors

We share data only with the processors and sub-processors below, each under a data-processing agreement. This is the complete list:

• Stripe, Inc. and Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — payment processing and subscription billing; acts as Merchant of Record (calculates, collects, and remits VAT/GST).

• Hostinger International Ltd. (Lithuania, EEA) — server, application, and PostgreSQL database hosting (VPS infrastructure).

• Self-hosted analytics/heatmap tool (run by us on PracticalApps Studio / Hostinger infrastructure) — records aggregate interaction statistics (clicks, scroll depth) to help us improve the site; loaded ONLY after you accept non-essential cookies. If you decline, it is not loaded.

• GlitchTip (self-hosted by us on Hostinger) — application error and crash monitoring (Sentry-compatible); may process technical context such as IP address, URL, and stack traces to diagnose faults.

• Playwright / Chromium (headless browser, run by us on Hostinger) — the scan/crawl engine that loads the public product pages and feed URLs you submit and captures screenshot evidence. It only visits the URLs you provide for scanning; it does not process your account or billing data.

We do not currently use any third-party large-language-model (LLM) or AI sub-processor; if we introduce one, we will name it here before doing so.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We will disclose data only if required by law or a valid legal process.

International transfers

Some processors may store or process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we rely on European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.

Retention

Account and contact data: retained for the duration of your account and up to 3 years after closure (for legal and dispute-resolution purposes), then deleted or anonymised.

Scan results, reports, and product-page screenshots: retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months, then deleted.

Checkout consent records (the timestamped record of your immediate-access request and 14-day-withdrawal waiver, with IP address): retained for up to 3 years as evidence of the contract you entered.

Billing records: retained for 8 years as required by Hungarian accounting law.

Server logs and error-monitoring data (GlitchTip): retained for up to 90 days then deleted.

Anonymised, aggregate analytics data: may be retained indefinitely as it cannot identify individuals.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request erasure ('right to be forgotten') where no legitimate ground for retention applies; restrict processing in certain circumstances; receive your data in a portable format (data portability); object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@practicalapps.studio. We will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, www.naih.hu), or with the supervisory authority in your EU member state of habitual residence.
