Cookie Policy
v1.3. Effective July 2, 2026.
Which cookies and tracking technologies FeedParity uses, and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by a website. We also use related technologies such as local storage and session storage. This policy covers all such technologies.
Essential / strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the service to function and cannot be disabled. They include: authentication session tokens (keep you logged in); CSRF protection tokens; and basic preference storage (e.g. theme). No personal data is shared with third parties through these cookies.
Analytics and heatmap (optional, consent-gated)
We use a self-hosted analytics/heatmap tool (run by us on PracticalApps Studio / Hostinger infrastructure) to understand how visitors interact with the site — for example click maps and scroll depth. This tool may set cookies or use local storage to record session interactions, so it is classified as a non-essential analytics cookie.
It is loaded ONLY after you click 'Accept all' in our cookie-consent banner. If you click 'Decline optional', the analytics/heatmap script is never loaded and no analytics or heatmap data is collected about your session. We do not use Google Analytics.
Marketing and retargeting cookies
Any non-essential marketing or retargeting tags (e.g. Meta Pixel) will load ONLY after you have given explicit consent through our cookie-consent banner. For EU users, no marketing cookies are set before consent. You can refuse or withdraw consent at any time through the banner.
Third-party services
Stripe may set cookies related to fraud prevention and payment flow when you visit a checkout page. These are governed by Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies.
Our error-monitoring tool (GlitchTip, self-hosted) does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It records technical diagnostic data (such as the URL, browser type, and any error stack trace) only when an application error occurs, to help us fix faults.
How to manage cookies
You can block, delete, or restrict cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling essential cookies may break core site functionality. For non-essential cookies, you can also change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie-consent banner shown on your first visit.
